Welcome to KeyQuest! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KeyQuest website located at https://keyquestapp.com (the "Site") and any related products and services that reference these Terms (collectively, the "Service").  Please read them carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1.  About KeyQuest
KeyQuest is an online platform that helps you gamify personal growth by turning your goals into quests, distributing experience points (XP), and tracking your progress across skills and habits.

2.  Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to create an account.  You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.  Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds
3.1  Plans.  We offer monthly, annual, and lifetime plans.  Current pricing is displayed on the Site and processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe.
3.2  Trials.  Some plans start with a free trial; you will not be charged until the trial ends.  You may cancel at any time during the trial to avoid charges.
3.3  Renewals & Cancellations.  Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled from your account settings.  Cancelations take effect at the end of your current billing period.
3.4  Refunds.  We provide a no-questions-asked 7-day money-back guarantee on first-time purchases.  To request a refund, email us at support@keyquestapp.com within 7 days of the charge.

4.  License & Ownership
4.1  Your Content.  You retain all rights to content you submit (e.g., quest descriptions).  You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store and display that content solely to operate the Service.
4.2  Our Materials.  The Site, underlying code, graphics, trademarks, and all other intellectual property are owned by KeyQuest or its licensors.  Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.  You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service.

5.  Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
•  Violate any applicable law;
•  Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content;
•  Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the Service;
•  Use the Service to build a competing product.

6.  Data & Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data are described in the Privacy Policy.  By using the Service, you consent to such processing.

7.  Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.  We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your specific goals.

8.  Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KeyQuest and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

9.  Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold KeyQuest harmless from any claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

10.  Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.  You and KeyQuest agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Delaware for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms.

11.  Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally.  If changes are material, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 7 days before they take effect.  Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
